 The Slippery Rock girls soccer team is having a great season as they are 9-3-1 this year.  They have had some really good games like against Clarion when they won 7-0 and when they beat IUP 2-0.  They have the California University of PA for their next game on Wednesday, October 27th at 1 pm.  The girls have a great 6-1-1 home record and are looking to take that momentum into the PSAC tournament games.  Good luck to the girl's soccer team on their hunt to win the PSAC championship!

This season the men's cross country team is doing very well and is getting ready for their PSAC championship tournament tomorrow at Kutztown University.  They have competed very well at their Invites this year taking 2nd at the California of Pennsylvania University invite and taking 2nd at the Bill Lennox Invite at Slippery Rock University.  On November 6th they have the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships and the Division 2 NCAA championships after that.  They also have taken 3rd and 4th in the other two invites during this season.  Good luck to the men's cross-country team in their PSAC and NCAA Championships.

 This year the SRU volleyball team is 4-18 but had 2 good wins in the Lock Haven Invitational when they beat Lock Haven and Roberts Wesleyan University.  They are 3-4 in away games so when they go to other stadiums they are on their game and ready to compete with all the teams. On Friday the 22, they have a game against Pitt of Johnstown and it is an away game.  In less than a month the team will play in the PSAC championship game and try to bring home gold for their teammates and fans.  So I just want to wish the Volleyball team the best of luck this season.

 This year the Slippery Rock football team is having a great season and is looking to make it to the NCAA playoff.  They are 6-1 at the moment and they are coming off a tough homecoming loss to IUP.  In three weeks they will have a chance to redeem themselves when they play against the #5 California University of Pennsylvania.  That game will be the team's last home game of the season and will be senior day for the athletes.  I wanna wish the Slippery Rock Football Team the best of luck this season and keep up the good work.
